January Parent and Child Outings

January 5th:  6-8 p.m. – Pre-school P.T.A Open House. Mothers can visit and learn about a variety of pre-school options in the Clifton Park area.

January 6: 9:30 a.m. - Pre-K Playgroup (3-5 yrs.) Cost: Free.

January 6: 7:30 p.m. - Executive Board Meeting If you have any concerns or questions, please email a board member so that the information can be discussed at the meeting.

January 7: 11:00 a.m. – Infant Playgroup (0-18 months) Cost: Free.

January 8: 10:00 a.m. – Bounce Around at Clifton Park Center.  Let's get together and burn off some of that energy.  Bounce Around is located in the Clifton Park Center adjacent to Boscov's. Cost: $8 per child.  Children must wear socks while bouncing.

January 11: 9:30 a.m. – Pre-K Playgroup. Cost: Free.

January 12: 9:30 a.m. – David Grover and the Big Bear Band.  If you missed this performance at the library, Shenendehowa PTA Council Preschool Committee presents David Grover and the Big Bear Band. Cost: Children 2 years and up are $4. Adults are free. Snow dates January 19th and 20th (9:30 and 1:00).

January 13: 9:30 a.m. – Club Connection. Come and listen to an instructor from Make it Fit, LLC.  She will present a “mini boot camp” demonstration.  We will also be discussing ways to spend our extra funds.  Cost: Free.

January 13: 6:45 p.m. – Mom’s Night Out. Movie Night! Let’s escape the snow in a cozy movie theatre. Send your movie suggestion by Monday, January 11th. We can meet in front of the theatre. Cost: $9.50 per person.

January 14: 10:00 a.m. – Infant Playgroup (0-18 months) Cost: Free.

January 14: 9:30 a.m. – Toddler Playgroup (19 mo.- 35 mo.) Cost: Free.

January 15: 9:30 a.m. – All-ages Playgroup. Cost: Free.

January 18: 4:30 p.m. – Dinner Outing at the Pasta Factory.  Kids Eat Free with every adult meal (on Monday's). Let's get together and enjoy a tasty pasta meal at this kid-friendly restaurant.  Mr. Twisty comes on Monday nights as well! Cost: approx. $7

January 19^: 9:30 a.m. – Cooking Club. Well it’s that time of year again, sports fans - time to get ready for the Super Bowl!  We’ll show our support by rousing up our favorite Super Bowl Party appetizer.   Along with your yummy dish, please bring 10 copies of your recipe to share. Cost: Free.

January 20: 9:30 a.m.– Winter Craft. Come and join us to make a winter craft.  Cost: $2.00 per child, limit 10 children.

January 21^: 10:00 a.m. – Infant Playgroup (0-18 months) Cost: Free.

January 21: 7:00 p.m. – Book Club at Mochalisa’s Café.  We will be discussing The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. Cost: free (unless you opt for coffee/dessert).

January 22: 9:30 a.m. – Toddler Playgroup. (19 mo.-35 mo.) Cost: Free.

January 26: 9:30 a.m. – All-ages Playgroup. Cost: Free.

January 27: 9:30 a.m. – Toddler Playgroup (19 mo.-35 mo.) Cost: Free.

January 28: 10:00 a.m. - Infant Playgroup (0-18 months). Join us for a baby playgroup. Older siblings are welcome.  Cost: Free.

January 29: 10:00 a.m. - Museum Outing at the Children’s Museum of Saratoga.  Cost: $6 per person, under 1 year free.  Check out their website at www.childrensmuseumatsaratoga.org
